In the context of the presence of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) delegation in Chisinau, a training course was organized with the aim of identifying the needs for implementing the Moldova-OECD Action Plan for the years 2023-2027.
The training course aims to define the areas of cooperation with the OECD in terms of national assistance and expertise needs, as well as institutional capacities for managing and engaging in dialogue with the OECD.
„We welcome the presence of our colleagues from the line ministries at the OECD Activity and Tools Training Course, which is a testament to the increased interest in the Organization’s projects, the opportunities it offers, and the investment projects that will be examined throughout the course. Last but not least, it demonstrates the establishment of partnerships for initiating common projects. The fields and guidelines of the OECD aim to support and complement efforts in our country’s EU accession process,” stated State Secretary Veronica Arpintin.
During the discussion, topics related to the completion of the OECD report: „Promoting Digital Business Environment Capabilities: Case Study – Republic of Moldova,” presented on March 15, 2023, were also mentioned. The report comes with additional recommendations regarding the digitalization of the economic sector in the Republic of Moldova in the context of the approval and implementation of the Digital Transformation Strategy 2023-2030 and the launch of the fourth round of assessment of the Small Business Act for Europe (SBA) during the visit of the OECD delegation to Chisinau from September 20 to September 22, 2022.
